5 Ways a Cheap, DIY System Costs More than Hiring an Expert.

If strategizing and implementing your launch, funnels and courses isn’t your thing, why are you trying to DIY it yourself?

Let’s get to the 5 ways it will cost you to DIY it yourself:

1. Your strategy doesn’t match the system for your offer

Say you’re a coach and you’ve got an amazing email list of people you can sell your new offer to. You decide to build a complicated funnel with a sales page, cart, ALL the social media posts, video, an on and on. It’s a huge undertaking and you’ve stressed yourself out by trying to do ALL THE THINGS pre-launch, it’s got your head spinning. Email list sales are different and you don’t need an insanely robust funnel to get the sales. The people that have subscribed to you already WANT what you have to offer. Wasted strategy, wrong built out system, wasted time…You’re trying to implement too many outside strategies into your offer and system

2. You’ve purchased and tried to implement the wrong tech for your system needs.

Someone you know told you that such and such software is the key to ALL of your business woes. You buy it without research, signing up for a trial in the hopes that it will solve all your problems. Nope…I’ve done it and a lot of you reading this have…it didn’t work out, you wasted money, and I didn’t realize it’s in beta and half the stuff they promised isn’t working or available yet. PLUS, I have no clue what I really need for the specific system I’m trying to improve.

3. You’re trying to implement too many outside strategies into your offer and system

Just like #2, someone told you that there is a specific strategy that you have to use to make your business organized and successful. What if you think about where you want to go and work backwards from there? THEN, you can discover which strategy is going to work for you and your business.

4. You’ve designed your system around your business only and not including your ICA in the factor

Does your ideal client like video more than written word? Are they into filling out forms or getting on a call? Will they lose interest if they have to read through a ridiculously long-form sales page (my biggest pet peeve btw, just tell me what I get and the cost, I’ll decide from there!). Knowing what they appreciate and will respond to AND will work for you.

5. Your automations aren’t right, you don’t have any, or you have no clue what to do 

You cannot DIY everything in your business, there are not enough hours in the day. Automation is a key factor in any business and if you don’t know how come talk to me!

I get it, there’s a HUGE variance in pricing and service providers out there. But the same goes for coaches and creatives. It’s a risk outsourcing to someone new I know, but if you want:

  • the outlined course in an appealing manner for your clients the confidence and clarity pre, during, and post-launch
  • a system that grows and evolves with you and not against
